Alignment with Science Standards
Our films are made with educators in mind and we've aligned them with existing standards and frameworks, including Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Vision & Change.
Each film explores disciplinary core ideas and fundamental scientific practices, like genetics or experimental design, in relevant and engaging ways. And like NGSS, our films are research-driven and crosscutting, so that each film engages with broader interdisciplinary concepts like cause and effect to help students better understand the nature of science across a diversity of contexts.
This range and breadth – along with our lesson plans and educator resources – gives educators the flexibility to use our films in a variety of ways to meet essential science standards.

After you're logged in, click the green "Educator Resources" button at the top of any video or film (if available). You'll see more information about its companion lesson plans and resources along with links to view and download them.
