Shannon Behrman, our Senior Director of Education, will be at the SABER conference from July 11-14 to present our most recent study with Dr. Stephanie Mathews at North Carolina State University. We evaluated two films, Decoding Ancestral Knowledge and The CRISPR Apostle, in Stephanie’s general microbiology class in Fall 2023 and found strong positive outcomes on students’ learning, science identity, and their understanding of the nature of science.
