Last year at NSTA in Philly, we met the incredible Susan Bartol. After seeing our film OBSERVER, she was so inspired that she went back to Hillside Elementary and designed a massive “Science Day” dedicated to the art of observation!
From a theater screening for the whole school to building observation frames inspired by the film, Susan brought together district faculty, 17 high school students, and 25 scientists from Montclair State University to produce an unforgettable, fun-filled day for 425+ third-, fourth- and fifth-graders.
We are honored that OBSERVER served as the jumping-off point for Susan’s vision. Thank you, Susan, for showing us how one educator can change the way an entire community sees the world.
