President and CEO, Wildlife Conservation Society
Adam F. Falk is President and CEO of the Wildlife Conservation Society, a role he assumed in 2025 following more than seven years as President of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Falk previously served as President of Williams College and as the James B. Knapp Dean of the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences at Johns Hopkins University, where he joined the faculty as a theoretical high-energy physicist in 1994. His scientific contributions have been recognized with national young investigator awards from the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and the Research Corporation for Science Advancement, as well as a Sloan Research Fellowship in Physics. Falk is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and an elected Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Council on Foreign Relations. He holds a PhD from Harvard University and a BS from the University of North Carolina.
